Laymon du Barthas, Laymon du Barthas, out of Strada and by Djin Lotois, full brother to Nefta du Barthas and Jelma du Barthas, half-brother to Hifrane du Barthas, finished his first race in Dubai in 11th position at a speed of 24.614 kmh and best overall recovery time, i.e. 7 minutes.

A very good day for Djin Lotois, with two of his progeny placed in the Top Ten at this World Championship :

Panama du Caussanel, 4th at a speed of 18.697 kmh ridden by Sonia Bourle, Pamela du Barthas, 9th at a speed of 18 kmh ridden by Pascale Dietsch.

We have also been told that Lima du Barthas has been selected to carry the colours of the Belgian flag at the coming World Equestrian Games in Lexington in September 2010.

DUBAI The President Of United Arab Emirates Endurance Cup

Laziz du Barthas, by Djin Lotois out of Une Fois/Persik came in 13th at a speed of 22.80 km/h, at the 160-km President’s Cup 2010. After winning the CEI*** at Le Vigan in 2009 and taking second place at the 120-km Euston Park race, Laziz went to Dubai. He is the 3rd horse from the Barthas Stud Farm, following Hifrane du Barthas and Denoura, both of which are now broodmares, to have finished the Dubai President’s Cup.
