Automn 2004 – our track record to date
Five horses in training at the Le Barthas stables are up on the podium :

Jelma du Barthas: 1st at Néris les Bains - CEI**
Jassem du Barthas: 2nd at Chanac - CEI** ( won the Fittest Horse Award)
and 14th, 1st of all 7- yr olds at the 200 km Montcuq ride - CEI***
Denoura du Barthas: 2nd at Nègrepelisse - CEI**
Jamel de Gentil: 1st at 90 km ride in Millau
Kabile de Frons, winner of the 6-yr olds Championship, 2nd series at Uzès
Khadar, 8th in the first series at Uzès

• CEI* de Montcuq October 30 and 31 2004 200 km Jassem du Barthas, ridden by Charles Cappeau, came 14th at an average speed of 16.32 km/hr. He was the first to complete the race among the 7 year olds that competed in this ride, which started with more than 100 horses. • Finale des jeunes chevaux de Uzès** October 23 and 24 octobre 2004 90-km ride Our stallion, Khadar, came 8th in the unrestricted speed competition and therethereby laid a claim to a 2-star ranking for performances as a 6 year-old. Kabile de Frons, a daughter of Djin Lotois, winner of the 90-km set speed ride.
• CEI Nègrepelisse** October 2, 2004 120 km Just two weeks after the Néris les Bains ride, Denoura du Barthas, full sister to our stallion Khadar,trained at the Barthas centre and ridden on that day by Jean-Philippe Francès came 2nd, hot on the heels of our friend Pascale Dietch.

• CEI Néris les Bains** September18, 2004 120 km A fortnight after Ifrane du Barthas, her half sister, Jelma du Barthas (by Djin Lotois out of Strada) won the Néris les Bains 120-km race as well as the 3rd Fittest Horse award. It was Charles Cappeau's first national level race - our warmest congratulations to our "home-grown" rider. Two others bred at the stud farm, Glinka and Féline, finished this race that started with 80 horses, of which only 40 finished.

• CEI Raid des Dolmens à Chanac** June 6, 2004 120 km Jassem, by Djin Lotois out of Une Fois, born and trained at the stud, and ridden in this race by Jean-Philippe Francès, came 2nd and won the Fittest Horse Award.
