Our Stud Farm - Purebred Arabians for competitive endurance
Breeding - a passionate interest and a profession
I first came to La Salvetat Peyralès
to buy horses but was captivated the uniqueness of the Viaur Valley.
I ended up buying the Barthas farm that overlooks the valley in 1981.
That is when I established my own stud farm and developed our trail riding
activity.
I competed in my first national-level endurance ride in 1986 at Florac.
More than just an experience, this was a revelation to me – it was
the beginning of a passion for this discipline.
As early as 1987, I started to choose sires for my mares with a view to
producing endurance horses. I began to select these partbred Arab mares on
the basis of their stamina and hardiness.

Exceptional blood lines

We are now breeding more and more purebred
Arabians, in particular with mares from the ARCA line, one of the
best among purebred Arabian lines.
The adult progeny of these foundation mares have now all been placed
in national and international endurance events, in some cases as
winners.

Promising progeny
We have now bred many promising horses
that we are gradually putting through their paces to reach the national
level. If you wish to purchase a horse for competitive endurance
with excellent pedigrees (sired by Persik, Arsew, Nichem, Dhaman,
Diarex, Zulus) and out of performer dams or second dams,
... contact us to visit our stud farm
and see our stock.
In addition to being owners-breeders,
we also buy foals and young horses with promising pedigrees to enhance
our gene pool and discover new performers. We raise them and prepare
them for competition with our own foals.
